Why Seminar on Sanskrit Language..?

"SANSKRIT: future language of communication
 POSSIBILITIES, FEASIBILITIES, DIFFICULTIES & CHALLENGES ".
Language is the sign & power of the people. Love for our own language is an important aspect of patriotism/ National pride.

In our country Marathi is the language of Maharashtrians, Tamil is the language of Tamilian and Bengali is the language of Bengal. But which is the language of India – English or Hinglish?

Today in India Hindi & English are our Languages of Communication.

Even after 65 years of our Independence, when two Indians meet, they prefer to speak in English, because speaking in English has become a status symbol.

Today, if given an opportunity, 80% youth in India, will jump to learn any foreign languages along with English for better future prospect.  Nothing is wrong in it. But, they tend to give less importance to their mother tongue, regional language & ignore Sanskrit fully.
it is very unfortunate that People do not see any bright future in learning our own language .

English is a global language.
Learning English is very helpful for keeping relation with rest of the world. But, it‘s increasing influence internally, affects the local and regional languages, due to powerlessness of unaccepted national language, even though, we have more than 150 languages & 18 official languages.
Now, for all practical purpose English is becoming our Commercial, Professional & Administrative language all over India. It is an abnormal situation. It leads to slow death of our regional language in next 100-200 years. This is slow poisoning software because our future generation will miss out on our rich culture & heritage of ancient languages.
English has unofficially taken over as the most accepted language in India. (Whatever, Hindi is being understood & spoken by most of the people in  India, because of the influence of Hindi movies.)

Advantages of Sanskrit

Sanskrit… A language of Science, Technology, Geography, Yoga, Astrology, Ayurved, Philosophy…… etc

Sanskrit….Is called mother of all languages in the world.

Sanskrit…. Opens door to all the languages of India.

This is indispensable. The ideal would be, in a few years, to have a rejuvenated Sanskrit as the representative language of India. That is, a Sanskrit spoken in a way that Sanskrit is behind all the languages in India and it should be.

When youth in India speak in one National language in Banks, Share Markets, Parliament….. Etc that will be the strength of 100 cores Indians. This strength, Unity & integrity among the Indians can be achieved through the medium of Indian language only. In all countries of the world it is the same thing. Nation must speak in its own National language & then can learn as many languages they can.

Now, time has come to start “Swabhasha” movement to save our language legacy from the English language invasion.

We, Saunvardhan Pratishthan has taken its first step by organizing seminar on this subject to find out the answer for following questions.

• Can we make Sanskrit a popular, powerful & prestigious language once again?


• Can we make it language of masses & not only classes ?


• Can a student learn Sanskrit along with his mother tongue & English?


• Will Sanskrit be connected with caste / cultural dominance?


• Will all caste & creeds will accept Sanskrit ?


• Are we going to be silent spectators when our rich cultural heritage of Indian languages is slowly but surely dying ?. . . . . . isn’t it a social crime?


• Are we creating a legacy of English as a domestic communication language for next generations?

Saunvardhan Pratishthan is making efforts to rejuvenate & revive Sanskrit as pan India language. We organized this seminar for preservation of our cultural heritage of Indian language.
